D.A.P.A. operates after hours on the premises of the ultra-modern Horizon Dental, a working dental practice located in the convenient Steele Creek area of Charlotte.  Having in-person lab sessions in a this setting allows our students to have access to some of the latest technologies available preparing our students for success from day one.

Accommodating Schedule

D.A.P.A.  offers accommodating options for busy, working adults making accessing a new career in reach.  At Dental Assisting Preparatory Academy, we prepare you for employment in 13 short weeks.  

Our course consists of: 

  • Online Lectures - we even have an app for convenient access wherever you are.
  • 4 hours of in-person clinical training per week
  • 40 hours externship in real working dental offices

 

Our Faculty

The faculty at Dental Assistant Preparatory Academy are working professionals in the dental field, including dentists, hygienists and assistants that have all trained coworkers on the job throughout their years of practice. We believe that it is our staff and their desire to help students not only graduate but to truly understand and be able to thrive that sets D.A.P.A. apart from other assisting programs.
